Bought these for my 2007 Impala SS because I tow a 25ft Airstream. When I put new, wider wheels on the car, I found that if there's a dip in the road, the rear tires would rub the lip of the quarter panel. These SumoSprings are awesome. The ride does not become too harsh because you don't really feel the difference until they're under load. Pulling is solid and stable yet retains ride comfort. If you're like me and are a student of the Andy Thomson School of Towing at CanAm RV (London, On.), you'll appreciate how these "helper springs" contribute to the tight connection between trailer & car that Andy & his team create.
