These headers have been successfully tested and assigned E.O. number D167-27 by C.A.R.B., making them 50-state legal on the emissions-controlled 1975-1979 models without A.I.R. System. The long, smooth-flowing 1-5\/8 in. oval port tube design provides excellent exhaust flow to let your Ford truck's SB Ford engine exhale, and produce excellent horsepower and torque. They fit manual and auto transmissions, but not for use on Camper Special models, or trucks with a lift kit.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThese headers are uncoated, and ship from the factory with a temporary black paint that will burn off when submitted to normal operating temperatures.
