This tilt column is ideal for varied applications. Since it is much shorter than our standard length columns, it reduces u-joint angles and removes the tube from the engine compartment. This not only increases clearance but also illuminates the concern of collapsibility. A slipshaft or EZ fit shaft can be installed with this column for a safe, quality system. Custom lengths can also be made through our custom program. All Flaming River columns are made from 304 grade stainless steel, in paintable mill finish OR polished to a high luster. They will never rust and are chemically clean and can be painted to match or highlight an interior with only minor preparation.
