Properly hanging your vehicle?s exhaust system is crucial to the system?s longevity. In fact, missing or improperly located exhaust hangers don?t just shorten the life of your exhaust system, they increase the forces generated on your vehicles headers, and can lead to cracked welds near the header collectors, as well as, cracks where the header tubes are welded to the head flange. Hedman?s Universal-use weld-on exhaust hanger brackets allow you to correctly position the exhaust hangers on your exhaust to ensure a secure installation, and reduce the risk of header or exhaust damage. This 90 degree style bracket is for use with 2-1/4 in. exhaust systems, and includes high temperature grommets that can be installed in one of three different heights. The 90 degree design of the bracket permits it to be used with hanger rods or bolts that are perpendicular to the exhaust tubing. Once welded to the exhaust system, the brackets are attached to the vehicle using standard 3/8 in. diameter exhaust hanger rods (not included), or 3/8 in. diameter bolts (not included).
